1. How do I subscribe?

Simply click on the ‘Become a Member’ button and follow the instructions. Select ‘Professional’ and complete your registration. You will then need to complete your profile. Your profile is the key to getting more connections, so we recommend you include as much detail as possible. Once your profile is complete, it is then reviewed and published. At this time your profile can then show in the professional search results for relevant searches.

2. How can I get my review star rating?

The review star rating tells consumers everything they need to know about your work at a glance and is the most powerful sales tool offered by Connect Ted. It’s easy to get started. Once a connection has been made, we’ll send a request for review to the consumer so they can rate their experience based on set criteria: prompt contact, needs understood, level of service, satisfactory outcome, overall experience. The consumers response is averaged to provide a single rating out of 5 and also will split it up into the five categories noted above.

4. What do I do if I can’t remember my password?

Please click the “forgot your password” link beneath the login box in the top-right corner.

5. How do I embed a video?

You need to make your video available on You Tube and then just copy and paste your video embed code into that field in your profile.

6. Who do I contact if I have a technical problem?

8. How do I know how many people visit my profile?

All Connect Ted memberships include access to the Professional hub where you can see the number of profile views and the number of connections you’ve made.

9. Why am I getting people visiting my profile but not contacting me?

You may need to review and upgrade the information on your profile. Remember to explain the benefits of working with you as well as listing all your experience and qualifications and encourage your clients to complete the review when they receive the request to do so.
